rail problem

This is a cosmetic problem. Just bought a GC1 that is in pretty good shape. The one obvious flaw is that the end rail has one place on the Formica surface that looks like someone took a ball and slammed it into the surface. There is a crater the size of a ball but not as deep. I would like some input on a repair or other solution. Is there a chance of finding/buying just an end rail with matching Formica?
Thanks
