Welcome. I'm not sure what you are needing. Do you restore sights on Gold Crowns or are you needing to restore them on your Gold Crown?
Can they be restored ? Yes

Can a professional restore them: abso-friggen-lutely !
Will they restore themselves ? not a chance.
OH and BTW, they are typically called "diamonds".

Yes, "diamonds" is their informal name - but not all are diamond-shaped, and "sights" is actually their technically accurate name.

The sights on the rails can't be seen because they are faded. What do you recommend to bring back the brightness

That is a GREAT question: you have to either drill or use a punch & hammer. Not a super easy job an I would suggest getting the EXACT size from Ken Hash at Classic Billiards. Good Luck to the OP.

When I removed my sights, I just used a 1/4" chisel, one or two strikes vertical across them. If they are real MOP, they will easily fracture.
The harder part is putting the new ones in and getting them flush to the rail. I replaced mine with 3d printed copper circles with black diamonds in the centers.

I'm not sure what that means. Have they changed color? Maybe sanding plus finish will be enough. Or orange nail polish.
