rambow cue with Harvey Martin case for sale

Posting for a friend Billy 707-601-2777. I will vouch for him

He ran across a fantastic Rambo cue in a Martin case that has been in storage some 30 years!
See pictures, Shaft is arrow straight.
The cue is a signed by Rambo Level 3 "Titlist"Maple forearm with original customers name, brass joint , has 4 rosewood points with four colored veneers, Irish linen wrap, with rosewood butt and late style butt cap design.

With the case he would like to get 9,000 or best offer, not interested in trades, serious inquiries only, Call Billy for more info.
Will consider selling cue and case separately.


the set belonged to Edward D. Knuchell who wrote billiard books in the 1970's

Billy found it craigslist!

unbelivable hu? most pool players in our small town don't know who Herman Rambow was, actually Billy called to tell me he had found an older cue, and I asked him if there was a Maker's name on it,He said no, but it had the name Rambow on it,I told him, really?
I took the pictures of the case and cue for him and loaned him the Blue book to read about Herman Rambow.
He's pretty stoked!
I told him this was probally a once in a lifetime find. He has pretty good luck with finding used cues, kind of a hobby with him.He is the one who 2 weeks found my stolen Meucci Black Rose at a local pawnshop, he called to tell me it was there. The cue was ripped last Oct and really never expected to see it again. The pawnshop said I could buy it back on leave it on a 90 day police hold while the police investigate the person who pawned it. I hope to get it back on July 1st! I had just had Scott Erwin refinish it and was super bummed when it got ripped, so Billys a good guy.
craigslist,.. can you believe it? I'm gonna start checking that more often....
