I have a 1971 Tad cue newly restored by Tad - new finish, new shaft by Tad ( 30"), new wrap by Tad. Cue is approx. 20 ounces. Also have new 29" shaft by cue maker in Long Beach, Ca.

I have the receipt for restoration work by Tad. Cue was finished and picked up on March 28, 2013 ( last Thursday).

I put about an hour of play on it to test it out. Hits great, clean - balance is slightly different with the 30" and the 29". Kind of cool - balance point shifts back slightly with 29" shaft. Gives you two options.

Got several opinions from collectors and quality players - the consensus is that in it's great condition and being a rare 1971, the value is at least $2500. That is my asking price.

There is a very slight warp in the butt up by the joint - less than the thickness of a credit card. Totally un-noticable when playing. You can barely notice it when rolling it on a table.

I own two other Tad's, one made for me in 1967, and the other made for me in 1982. This one is in perfect shape with the restoration. Only reason I am selling it is that it was not made for me. I picked it up in mediocre condition and had it restored to sell. Nice cue!

See the uploaded photos of the cue. Cue needs a good home!

I saw this cue this past Monday, and it is immaculate. One of the best Tad's around.

Beautiful Tad

Good Looker for sure1

Thanks for the response - it can be yours! I would be happy to deliver it to you in Rancho Mirage if the price is right!

Love tad

I really love TAD's work.

These cues hit so well. Very crisp hit.

I wish I could buy this now!
Guess I'll just have to try to win one when I play the TAD Cup again this August. I've come in 3rd place 2 years in a row now...

1971 has got to be worth at least $3000.
