This is the only 'War time joint' Hoppe Pro that I have seen that is NOT ebony or Brazilian Rosewood. 58" total with new -R- shaft (ivory 13mm ferrule).
This cue was in rough shape when received - Jerry Rauenzahn replaced the leather wrap with the closest thing to the original look that I've seen. He also built a new extra-long 30" shaft with an ivory ferrule (the original shaft was worthless and did not match the cue). The butt is 28", for a total length of 58 inches. The forearm was cleaned and a light hand-rubbed matte finish applied - there are no issues whatsoever with the forearm and the points match up almost perfectly. The weight stamp (20) and 'Willie Hoppe' signature are still perfect (not re-touched). There are cracks in the ivory butt-ring, but it is in nice shape and matches up against the butt very well.
It has a fat butt, but plays very, very well. I took it out to test-hit and it ended up paying for my evening out.
