This a very nice rare and collectible Jerry Franklin SW cue.
The LOA reads as follows:
Completed 1990 - Solid Nose cue
African Ebony Nosepiece
Grip section is North American Birdseye Maple
Single lines of Black and Red at AB joints
Base is African Ebony complimented with a Birdseye Maple buttcap
Decorative joint rings are Black linen phenolic and Maple - 8 slot Black/Red/Black
The cue's finish is in very good condition for the age of this cue; shows signs of being played with a few minor bumps and bruises and light surface scratches;
one small nick in the clear coat finish on the wrap area which is difficult to see; shafts are both smooth and full 13+mm with Micarta ferrules. The buttend of the
cue has a noticeable rollout; however, the cue rolls good with either shaft and plays super.
Cue specs are:
Butt weighs 16.24 oz
#1 shaft weighs 3.92 oz, 13.6mm, Micarta
#2 shaft weighs 3.92 oz, 13.6mm, Micarta
Balance point is approx. 19” from the buttend
