Hello, does anyone know what the TDF of this particular table and standard 4"5 cut ? Is it comparison to Diamond 4"5 cut ? I am looking to upgrade my old Gandy table because I am thinking that it would be worth it to get a new table and play/practice for years to come. Thank you much

PS, asked my dealer and he is only Rasson dealer. So he doesn't have detailed input on diamond tables. He only knows that diamond is very well known but rasson and predator are creating and hosting a lot of tournament in comparison to diamond

Predator is hosting its own tour and they use predators. No other pro tournaments I’m aware of are. There is no way I would pay more for a predator table over a rasson or especially a diamond.

Do you have physical access to the table at the dealer? If so, you can bring a ruler with you and measure the pockets.

Diamonds pockets (only the 9', not the 7') have extremely deep slate shelfs. I have not seen any other common in the USA brand table that deep. I have not seen the Rasson close enough to see its slate depth.

Found this one Rasson with 4" pocket from reddit

Rasson used to have a chart with all the pocket and shelf dimensions listed. There were many options, I think every 1/4" , also the side pocket and shelf dimensions were listed.

You'd need to know pocket mouth/throat size and shelf depth to calculate TDF. From that pic i'd say the SD is less than a D'mond and more like a GC so you could probably use GC SD #'s.

I believe I've read on here that when you decrease the pocket size you also decrease the shelf depth. So to get a direct comparison they would both need the same pocket size.

I think zvobra actually stated the shelf depth got ever so slightly longer with an increase in pocket width, and all angles staying same.

But that changes the plays though, as you will have to be more precise and less forgiving as the balls can rattle and be rejected
