Rauenzahn Cues.......Bushka II Project

Greg........just some FYI......

Jerry and I have become pretty good friends over the past couple of years and
I do not want to speak for Jerry. He and I have discussed how much longer
he wants to remain active........Jerry is a little older than me by a couple of years
and I turn 70 this summer. If you are really intent on having a cue made by Jerry,
I would not wait much longer. He told me about his plans and I am not at liberty
to share our private discussions......just take it from me....."don't procrastinate"
or you'll miss out owning a great cue. The same applies for Bob Runde & R. Black.

Great to hear...
Jerry makes a great playing cue.
" I have had 2 or 3,
"He is making some outstanding cues these days.

Okay.....this cue turned out great.......I cannot say enuf about how pretty this one is........thanks Kevin & Mr. Scruggs (R.I.P.).

I just took some quick photos and added them to the front of the thread. When I get the chance, I'll replace the pics with some better photos of the cue......my heart rate is really high right now.........thanks Jerry.

Here's a preview.

dom.......thanks for the endorsement but IMO, Cue of the Year should be limited to new designs
rather than one like mine that emulates a cue that was previously made by a renown cue-maker.

I have another cue arriving in a week or so. There's no chance of that being a reproduction since
I designed it from scratch and I think it is one you will particularly like and the design is totally
different than this one except for the fact it is also is uses a 4 points cue design.

Fortunately, both cue-makers were able to advance their production schedules to accommodate
completing my cue before the CA ban takes effect at the end of June. As you can see, my cue
designs use a lot of ivory, especially the next one, and it's my intention to abide by this new law.

Thanks for the endorsement though.

The cue received big thumbs up at the pool hall today and is still unplayed.....at least for awhile yet.

How Are The Other Bushka II Cues Coming Along?

I know there's been some developments since Bushka II was launched and was wondering how everyone else's cue design is coming along?

Jerry was great about getting mine finished early so that the CA ivory ban didn't come into play. As you can tell from the photos, mine is loaded with
ivory so I'm relieved it already resides in my case. Jerry is winding things down if he holds true to his plans and so how are the other Bushka II buyers
doing with their designs? Any progress photos from Jerry yet?

So if you have any updates on your Bushka II cues, please post your photos on this thread or consider starting one of your own. I betcha that the cue
Jerry made for me posted in this thread could be the most handsome of all the Bushka II cue designs. Have you gotten any pics yet to challenge me?
