THANK GOD the two Sister cues Mr. Jerry Rauenzahn built for me survived a near tragic ending from shipping. The box was crushed, and they lived thru the experience only because Mr. Jerry used tons of bubble wrap. The shafts were dinged, but I was able to fix them with a little TLC a wet Q-tip, and a little sanding and waxing on the lathe. Both butts were fine.

When I saw the box I almost had an accident.

I'll try and post pics tonight. These two cues are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! I think they are some of Mr. Jerry's best work yet.

Jerry is like a great barrel of whiskey, the more it ages the better it gets. (<:

OK, pics are here. The blue, green, light blue, and black veneered cue has abalone inlays while the black, white, black, and white veneered cue has mother-of-pearl inlays. They both have ivory piloted joints with 5/15-14 SS pins and all have ivory ferrules with Triangle tips. Cues hit sharply and firm with that old school Rauenzahn hit. Two of the shafts had well over 30++ ring count to the inch.

Enjoy

more pics.... the ebony in these two cues is jet black. My camera makes it look like it is brownish in tint when actually it's very black.

I like the green and blue veneered cue. I had just completed one with the same veneer combo.
