raven cues

I thought I would reply to this post for the whole forum to read.

I think raven cues (michael wagner) is one of the finest cue makers for playability out there. I have owned and tried many cues of what people refer to as the best Including a mottey, SW, Craig peterson, cog, runde, and so on. I have a raven sneaky pete, that for the exception of the mottey, plays better then the rest. And with a different shaft I had from him for a while it played damm close to the mottey. If it wasn't for his 1 year waiting list I would have just ordered another from him with a wrap and a six pointer. He is also one of the most knowledgable when it comes to building your cue and the physics and science behind it all. I have bosted him several times on this forum and for good reason. If anyone has any used cues from him for sale let me know. I and many of the guys at the pool room I shoot at would be interested in them. The manager at the room keeps asking me to sell him my SP but I just can't let it go. It is the cue I have owned for the longest period of time and I can't see me selling it at all, not even for 500 bucks.
Any other experiances with his cues?

oh , I forgot to answer your questions.

Mine is a heavy 19.5 oz. Mine is not very forward balanced and is my only complaint on it. I prefer a lighter feeling cue. The hit is very solid. Mine is a wood to wood SP and feels like a 1 piece cue, very consistent and very firm. This one is a little girthy. He has the ability though to make your cue to how you want it, some cue makers make cues only one way and when they change thier form it is a gamble. Mike can accomplish a great cue with any specs.
