Hi guy's and gals. I don't play 3 cushion but have heard mixed reviews on the ray schuler cues. Can anyone tell me if its a hard/soft hit ....hows deflection....and about the joint....thanks ...it would be used for pool......is there something to look for to know its a bad model of schuler cues

They tend to hit pretty firmly, but you can always swap the tip for a softer feel. They don't come standard with LD shafts, but they perform quite well for having solid wood shafts. I've played with a Schuler of some sort since 1991 and never had an issue with the joint. Once upon a time, I was playing 40+ hours/week. They are durable.
