Well I finally got the insurance check for my hurricane Sandy damage. They gave me a few bucks to replace the table. And my basement is finally done. I'm now getting ready to start a search for a table. My question to you experienced and knowledgable members is. If you guys had your choice what size table would you guys favor and why? I used to have a GC3 9' and probably end up getting the same. Just curious to see what everyone thinks and why.

Diamond vs GC3 debate is constant. You hear of people looking to make a GC3 play like a Diamond. You never hear of anyone wanting to make a Diamond play like a GC, I would think that would tell you something, but I don't want to get caught in the crossfire of this ongoing debate.
 
I'd definitely rather have a 9-footer than anything smaller (unless ALL of my playing was on a 7-footer). The larger table is better for developing your game.
 
I would recommend a 9 ft diamond because they seem to be the most prevalent "good" table you will see outside your house.
 
Either Diamond or Gold Crown...can't go wrong with either...I personally like the GC but many like the Diamond. I just mostly play on GC which is why it is my personal choice. The Diamond bar boxes are real nice too!
