Re installing Mach3

Does anyone have any experience in Re installing Mach3 ?
How do I make a backup of the Mach3 settings etc. I don't want to be in a situation of the machine not working. Some of the extra's are trial and I want to buy them. It makes more sense to me to use the latest version of Mach3 when buying the add ons.
The machine has a computer with winXP pro, the Mach3 was installed back in 2011. I want to save the settings so that the new install will be able to use those settings. My main reason for upgrading is to be able to install Mill Wizard and to also get the new versions of the Fandangled software.
Any help or direction will be appreciated.

Go to your Mach3 directory and copy and save all the files ending in .xml................ those are all the profiles.

Also copy and save the file named Mach1Lic.dat................ that is you license for mach3

After you re install Mach3... copy those files to the Mach3 directory
