re: jump shot/ attack on larry
hi all, first off it is a great shot to get over a ball that close, and it don't matter who's shooting it. I'm a lover of pool and although i'm not quite pro caliber I play pretty well. To get over something that close takes time and practice and if he can get over that on a regular basis my hats off to him.
As for the attacks on Larry, This is just my opinion, but they were brought on by himself. Maybe if he wasn't impressed with the shot he could have just said " not impressed ". I'm kinda new to this board but there seems to be a lot of bad blood here. Larry, as I read your replys I didn't develope a very good impression of you. I've never met you and had never heard of you before now, but unless something changes in the future I can say I would not buy your tapes. There is a well known man that has put a large variety of videos out and I have heard some positive things about certain tapes. But having met the man and played against him in a few tournaments, decided that due to his un-sportsman-like attitude, I will not ever put money in his pocket. I dont know how you are in person but you should always remember first impressions last. A good example of personality is Tom Rossman.
One final note: any pool shot is a good pool shot, whether it makes a ball or not. The main goal is to continue to play and learn. keep hittin' em. sam
