I picked up a nice Mike Stacey sneaky a while back and love the look of the cue but just can't get used to the taper. I can feel the change of size when stroking through my bridge and it reminds me of an old Falcon I had. The shaft is like a curly maple and when you combine that with the stout taper it is one stiff hitting mother - and I like a stiff hitter but this is too much. I'm not worried about changing the value for resale on it and would just like the shaft taken down maybe 2/10th's and the taper changed to something similar to my Carmeli (not sure what taper that is.) Anyone out there that would tackle that for a reasonable price - don't have much in it and don't want to spend a lot.
Thanks.
Thanks.
