I am planning to have my pool table erected after 10 plus years of storage. When the table was dismantled, the cloth (Simonis 860) was about a year old. I took great care in packaging everything to ensure all parts would not get damaged during the hibernation. I recently took out the cloth and it is in very good condition althought quite dirty (dusty). Can the cloth be dry cleaned, or cleaned otherwise prior to installation? The spot will obviously have to be replaced as well once the cloth is stretched and installed. Is there a method to remove the adhesive residue that will be left from the old spot?

Re-installing the cloth again depends a lot on how it was installed the first time. I've seen cloths that customers wanted to reuse when I moved the table that was a joke taking it off in the first place, let alone putting it back on.

As long as it wasnt folded you should be okay. If its been folded up for ten years its going to have lines in it that will never go away. Also check the pockets slits for large tares. ive never heard of anyone acutally dry cleaning it . it is worsted wool so that might actually work. if you do let me know what happens!
