Reaching over the rack of balls

I've tried stacking two bridges many times and everything gets pretty shaky. What works better? How about using one of these?

It's crap. The hole is so big the cue just rattles around all over.

Here is a way to stack bridges that is very stable.

In straight pool when the cue ball gets stuck behind the rack you can easily reach it by extending the top bridge.

Our friend here needs a jump shot to extend his run.

Sorry, but that's the kind of stacking that I say is very UNSTABLE. And there's a world of difference between the jump shot from the middle of the table and reaching over the stack of balls at the far end of the table.
