check this out.....now that's an oldie !!

In a conversation I had with Bill a while back, he told me "do not by any of my cues made before 1982". Now, he was speaking purely from a construction and playabilty perspective, not from a collecting perspective.

The opening price has one too many zeros:)

Wtf?

Where do people come up with these estimates? Who tells them this cue is worth that? Unbelievable

THAT SOUNDS LIKE VERY GOOD ADVICE, FROM A MASTER CUE MAKER!

If Bill is anything like he was back in the early 90's, he might buy the cue (clearly not for the price listed,) just so he can burn it. Most of the top makers (especially Stroud,) don't seem to care all that much for their super early work.

Hmmm...What year was the cue produced.....I sent an 80's model to him two years ago for a make over...shaft,wrap and refinish.Still waiting for it...talk to him evry time I here the Schick name.

I too am waiting on a cue I sent back. But that just may be Bill... Too many requests and priorities of his own. But it is worth the wait.

But in the meantime, I do not see enough to attract me to for any price over $3K for the in cue in the auction - but that is my opinion.
