Recent Mosconi cup practices, JAM

What saddens me as a practice may be considered the norm by others.

Team America in the Mosconi Cup, I would mention what I posted previously: Do you know the etymology or what the roots of the word "compete" are? It comes from Latin, "competare," which means together and strive. So to compete means to strive together. Why do Olympic athletes train with each other in order to compete? The idea is to get fit together.

And I choose to leave it at that on this public forum.
