I recently acquired a Cory Barnhart PJ that came with both a phenolic ferrule tip combo break shaft and a laminated playing shaft. After breaking with the break shaft a few times, I had a hunch that it would jump like a frog as well, and lo and behold, it does! With that being said, should I
1. Get Cory's contact info and commission a jump butt with matching silver dot inlay ringwork
2. Get a well-respected cuemaker that AZ members know to make me a plain radial jump butt with a wood joint facing?
I'm a little strapped for cash and am not sure how much Cory would charge.
If I get one made by someone else it would have to be from a cuemaker that is known for quality work to avoid quality issues- and it would have to be wood joint facing so ringwork doesn't clash. Any recommendations in that case?
