Ty Mike for your inputWhite Diamond and hard Triangle tips are the two tips for breaking that give me the most control with power - just my many years of experience - Power without control only solves half the successful breaking solution.
One needs to contact the desired aim point with desired power and also control the cue ball from the resultant break point.

I had a white diamond tip on one of my break cues. It’s really nice but kept popping off. I replaced it with a Samsara over 15 years ago, it still there and breaking very well. I ordered two Samsara tips back then, one is still in the package unused…I’m thinking I’m going to try the white diamond ultra tip
