Anyone have any (legal) suggestions about playing when you're really exhausted? I tried chugging a bunch of red bull..and it keeps me awake, but it also gives me the jitters really bad...I feel all nervous and twitchy to the point where I start my speed control and stroke are completely gone.

You could try this.

banana, peanut butter, honey, on a toasted rye. wash it down with orange juice. try those energy packs at the local runner's store.

Actually I heard that "Focus Factor" does pretty well to keep you alert. I also think that Cheff Jeff has a product that he recommends.

What I do if I start getting tired is have something to eat with a Mountain Dew. But, don't drink it on an empty stomach. It'll give the same aforementioned side effects!

I had the same problem. The solution is.... SUGARLESS REDBULL, works great!

I think I'm going to try the sugarless redbull and/or having my caffeine with some food next time...maybe that'll work better than guzzling redbulls (with sugar). Otherwise I think I'll just play tired rather than play jittery and on-edge....or use Spike! Nothing says "ingest me" like a bottle with a SKULL AND LIGHTING BOLT THROUGH IT lol.
