What's the word on the older Diamond tables?are they even close to being as good as the newer ones?theres a guy that has some 8 footers for sale @ 1300.good or no?
Thanks for the responses

I played on both. With the red label, the cue ball can get airborne if you hit a hard bank. At $1,300 you can probably have the rails redone and still be cheaper than buying a blue label. Ask TheRealKingCobra about it.

$1300 is a steal for a diamond anyway you look at it!I Have a Proam bar box with the red label and it plays great. When I use the multi dot training ball I get an occasional slight hop if I fire a bank in.Otherwise no complaints from me on any of my 10 buddys that shoot on it.I did notice the newer rails slow down rebound a very slight amount on the blue label....But that could be a lot of things from cloth, humidity, cleanliness of the balls..just my observation.

Depends on age and condition, not if it's a red or blue label as that can be just fine or even upgraded to play at it's best, but the condition is what's more important in my book;)
