Thank you in advance for your expertise and advice. I love this forum and appreciate everyone's time.
Cleaning out a closet the other month I found the first cue I ever bought which was a mali that I got in 1987. I played with it and I love the stiff hit after a tip change. It is a very ugly grey stain forearm with floating points.
Is it possible to refinish the forearm and stain it dark to match the rosewood but piece and still salvage the linnen wrap?
I think I must have gotten a gem back then and didn't realize it but the mali hits better than my pierce with his bowling alley shaft and my sugarttee shaft.
I know it is not worth the investment but I won't ever sell that cue do to all the joy it has brought me with pool.
Thanks for the input.
