Refinishing Pocket Castings on a GC. and rest of table

In another thread a few people mentioned options for refishing pocket castings on a used Gold crown I purchased. I was wondering if anyone has refinshed these themselves and still had them come looking professional and what steps it would require. Also someone mentioned powder coating and getting them bronzed at a factory. This is on a GC 3 and I know they are originally Bronze but I may try to get them done in silver since I like the way the silver looks.

The rest of the table looks pretty good but I was also curious about how you go about renovating the rest of the table cabinet and best way to clean etc. and get it looking as good as possible.

Any thoughts comments would be appreciated, thanks!

Thanks for the info, I will check out my options.

to the other poster:
I did know it was "Powder coating" :), just a typo. I know it is powder coating because I watch that Chopper TV show sometimes were they are always getting Motorcycle parts Powder coated. I just tend to drop my "D" sometimes. Is the show called "orange county chopphers" , "West coast choppers", I can't remember. I haven't watched it in a while but its a good show. Even though I don't have a bike, I love seeing these great looking bikes come out and seeing what goes into putting them together, the drama of the tuttles going at is good too :).
Makes me want to get a chopper! Probably will someday.
