Pool isn´t very popular in Germany. There´s (official) amount of 26,000 players in Germany though there are some highly skilled players.
This tournament is for honour- no money is payed. The winners qualify for the national championships.
You´ll find 4 different classes here: Women, Ladies (40+), Men and Seniors (40+). But as everywhere the seniors are mostly on nearly the same level (some above) like the men.
In the "video"- section of the "billardmanager) you will find clips of the last year´s event and of the Stuttgart open (Hohmann, Ortmann).

Next time you have one, be sure to send Mike Howerton an email (housepro@azbilliards.com) and inform him ahead of time (as soon as known/confirmed -- the sooner the better) and he will most likely add it to the AZ Stream List and it will pop up under Streamer Central on the front page for all to see! Post here in the Live Stream Area again as well!

Though it´s a regional Tournament of "Landesverband Baden-Württemberg" (home of Black Forrest, Boris Becker, Steffi Graf, Heidelberg and Baden-Baden, what you may know), there play really highly skilled guys- even if not each match is highend (due to the importance of the tournament).
We Germans often have a look to what happens in the U.S.. Maybe the poolplayers around the world could stand together and bring this sport in the new age.
I would wish, that each association had some guys like we have here in Baden- Württemberg (thanks to Uwe Bitsch and Reinhard Reese).
The guys who record this stream are three poolplayer, who bought a lot of equipment to record pool- events here in Germany.
