Remaining forum problems???

Mike,Mr. Wilson or Icon,

I've noticed a couple of remaining problems.
1) On Sarahs forum there is a thread with links to another thread that is often referred to on Sarahs forum.....the links don't work anymore.
2) on the Players forums (and maybe others???) if you look without being logged in only a few threads are available for reading,once you log in all the threads are available.

Terry< just made this a post incase anybody else wants to add any observed strange problems remaining from the move.

Another thing is that the quick links do not show up if you're not logged in. It is bothersome if you want to use the Wei table.

If you are set to be logged in on one computer you cannot be set to be logged in on another computer.

That's probably because it also links to user control panel.

For #1, the reason is that the URL no longer exists. That link points to the following URL:

http://www.azbilliards.com/vbulletin/upload/showthread.php?t=11086

The link would need to be changed to:

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=11086

Sorry to bump this back up but I just logged out and checked the forums and in the player section if you are logged out you can only see a few threads and the thingy with the pages is not there either. So I'm not sure what all the forum guest are looking at except new posts. Once I logged back on everthing works fine.

EDIT- Yep, just checked and it seems to be ONLY on the "Ask the Pros" section of the forum.

I don't think this is true. I auto-login from several different computers.

Until today, I was getting logged out constantly-Every time i went to a non forum page and returned, i had to log back in- All seems well now though.

I spoke too soon- getting logged out even when i dont leave the forums now.

I logged out but didn't really see what the problem was when I viewed the forum as a guest. I guess I'm not sure what I'm looking for, but it looks how I remember it always looking when I wasn't logged in.

When I'm logged OUT on say Melissa H's forum there will only be two threads showing and the bar with the forum pages is missing. When I then log ON the bar is back and there is a full page of threads. It's only doing it on the Pro players forums. All other forums seem to be just fine.

Ex. logged off Keiths=4 threads,Shawns=4 threads, Dannys=1 thread, Melissas=2 threads, Sarahs=9 threads, Jenns= 11 threads, charlies= 1 thread, Denos = 3 threads...Oh and the "Test" area has a full page of tests but also no link bar to older pages .

OK, just figured it out. when logged off the thread preferences was set to show only last months threads. I didn't set this so the only question is, was it something set automatically? If so, what are guests seeing?
