There are already a ton of posts on this past weekends antics so I will keep this short. There is no question Earl is mentally unbalanced, and in this state he is not good for pool. I like Earl. He was A great champion, his record speaks for itself. But there will come a time when he can't get any action, he will lose all his sponsors, and all he will have left are the "remember when" stories. People will reach a threshhold where they simply can't take anymore of the antics...look at Dennis Rodman, arguably one of the best who at the end of his career he simply used up all his 2nd chances and burned all his bridges, being relegated to "reality" shows. That may be what is in Earl's future. I hope not. I hope he seeks and gets help. If he doesn't, it will be sad to see. There definitely comes a time when his actions far outweigh any positives his play brings. Not to mention the terrible example he is leaving for any new players to the game.
