Remembering Pat Howey

This is a copy and paste from something I put on my Facebook page. This is a quote from a post Pat made in response to a thread started by Williebetmore.

"I was blessed with many champions in this area so that is where , like you, I got to observe the finer points of the game. And these guys, Crane, Cranfield, Larry Hubbart, Danny D,and many other A+ players all have different ways of playing patterns. That is when you start to develope your own style, and it will come to you in a flash! One day you will break the balls and say to yourself, "I have seen this before and I know just what I am going to do!" Then on to the next rack! But, it all takes time and you, like me, will study the best players and pick up something here and there and put it in your game. That"s just the way it works." ~ Pat Howey

In the last 2 years of his life, I had the awesome opportunity to meet Pat, and become good friends with him. I really miss Pat Howey. I was so blessed to learn so much from such a great man. Hopefully he's up there making somebody his rack boy.

Here is a short video of Pat from the Derby City Straight Pool Challenge a few years ago.

Pat Howey: Side Pocket Break

I am in the process of completing all of these DVD's, and I will include ALL of the footage I have of Pat.

NOW FOR THE GOOD PART... This is what I want to do...

It would be awesome if those that knew Pat could make a short video with personal stories, or just words of remembrance in honor of one of the greatest players that ever played this game. The video does not have to be superior quality. This particular DVD is for Pat's family and friends - if anybody wants to contact me regarding this, send me a PM.

Thanks in advance!
