Removing rail rubber

I have a table that I decided to have the pockets shimmed tighter. So therefor the rubber will have to be replaced. My table is about 1 1/2 years old with less 3 hours a week average play on it. It is a Olhausen with Accu-fast cushions. Will they be able to be salvagable, and if so can I sell then to get a little return on my investment?

It will probally be hard to sell them, sometimes they get stressed and crack or rip when removed, sometimes they come off very easily too. You might want to hold on to them if they are still good, this way the table could be returned to stock.

Understand that Accu-Fast rail rubber seldom EVER goes bad, so to find someone looking for a set of "used" Accu-Fast rail rubber is going to be somewhere between slim to none. The rail rubber can only be installed on rails 1 1/2" thick, so the field of tables that would use this rail rubber is also slim to none...because it seldom ever needs to be replaced...once again. So I guess what I'm saying is that the used rail rubber only has a value to you and not anyone else, and only has value if you can find someone who's looking...at the same time you're selling...so, don't worry about saving the rail rubber...as most would buy new anyway...if they even needed some.
