Mike breaks and makes 6 ball. Has shot on 1, but 3 & 4 are tied up. Might be a combo available though.

Mike misses 1 ball trying to make it and break open 3/4. Leaves hanger on 1 for Santos.

Santos makes 1-ball and very slowly and meticulously runs to the 5. Jaws the 5 but leaves tough cut down the short rail on the 5.

Mike cuts the 5 in and goes length of table twice for perfect shape. Runs out.

Mike breaks and makes the 6-ball. Shoots long 1 ball down long rail and makes it. Perfect shape on 2.

Mike makes 2. Table is wide open now. It is all up to Mike whether he wins or not.

Makes 3 with great shape on 4. Studies, gets down on shot, get back up and studies, gets back down and then gets back up again. Makes 4 ball. Great shape on 5.

Makes 5. Makes 7 and plays shape to short side of 8. Makes 8 and misses scratch in side by inches. Mike never even looked worried.

Gets back up once.

Makes 9-ball and wins the tournament.
 
I agree with this thread completely!

Awesome to have live coverage (or play-by-play for those of us who were in bed!).

Incredible performance by Mike D., this time, not the Beastie!!
