A couple of q's.....

1. Changing a wrapped cue to wrapless.

2. Re-truing the butt because metal rings on butt protruding a bit.

Just trying to see if it's worth modifying, keeping, selling. I'll appreciate any inputs. Thanks.

HOW did you make a wraped Q, wrapless?...JER

what you could do to make the cue 'wrapless' is spray finish over the entire cue, with the wrap on it. Its whats meucci does, the wrap is underneath the finish. The feel afterwards is the same as wrapless. If you dont like the color of the wrap, have it changed out with a different color, then finish on top of it, but you probably wont want just the handle with finish spray on top of it, it'll just look weird. Thats the simplest way I could think of, replacing the handle is just too troublesome, and would probably cost more.

1........cut the cue in half....insert wood of choice...approx $250-300

2.......cut metal rings to size....refinish butt .......approx $200

<~~~prices subject to change between who does the work......

My suggestion would be if it's linen, try a nice leather wrap. I have found lot's that just don't like the feel and look of linen really do like the leather. Not the same as wrapless of coarse, but a great alternative.
My 2 cents,
Jim Lee
