Jim, it's easy. Take a small propane torch and heat the pin, [be sure to keep away from the shafts joint or cues joint] back it out with channel locks or whatever you have handy. The "insert", place the heated pin [ re-heat the pin after removing it from the cue] and screw the pin into the insert and let it sit for a few minutes to let the heat break down the glue. Then back it out. You might have to lock another insert [ or a nut] to the insert in the shaft to keep it from not backing out. clean up the holes re-bore and install the new stuff.stickman said:I have instructions and diagrams for installing the uni-lock pin and insert.
