Replacing handle on a cue

i have a bunch of a couple of Palmers Il'll try to post some pics ,may need help though.

The biggest thing with posting pictures is the size. This forum doesn't auto adjust the size. Gmail doesn't offer this option either but outlook does. If you can't adjust the size you can send them to me and I'll adjust them and send them back to you.

Or..
You could use Imgur or photobucket. I don't have a use for them so I don't know how they work.

Looks great. How did it effect the weight, if any, depending on how you did it, of the cue?
Edit
I should ask. Did you do it or someone else. On this Forum, you never know?

Don’t have exact changes on hand, but it went from being 29” to 30”. So I was expecting some weight gain. I changed it from accepting a weight bolt to slugs only. In anticipation of making an extension with a 3/8-16 pin.

Cue had a mild(.014”) runout at the A-joint. Couldn’t get it perfect, .003 or so now. Wood was supplied with the work needed already done. I still can’t cut very good external threads in wood. Ebony was bored .875, piece of maple had external threads cut.

Kicker is, I only put finish on the handle/sleeve. Left the forearm finish alone. In the right light, the clarity difference is noticeable. In use/normal viewing you can’t tell there is a difference. It’s that Art Resin epoxy crap I tried. Looks like liquid glass on the cue. But not very user friendly.
