Resolute mistake

I should probably list this under stupid mistakes. Last night I had a batch of shafts I was turning down. After making a pass I was dipping some in Resolute. I had shafts in several sizes, some I dipped, some I didn't. I got to a batch that was ready for it's final turn and instead of turning them down I mistakenly dipped them in the stabilizer. Now they are nice and yellow and have a pretty strong Resolute odor. I am ready to use them now but how long should I wait to do the final turn and will they turn out OK as far as color and dryness? I am just looking for opinions on how to handle this.

I would at least wait a coulpe of weeks because takes at least that that long for the resolute to fully dry..

I doubt it really makes a difference. I believe Billy Stroud dips the whole cue butt and all when it is done. What I would do if I was you would be to make yourself a test piece so you know what to do. Take a piece of scrap and dip it. Then wait and see what you can do. You may be after a week or two, able to just wipe it down with something that will take it off the surface.
