This is a very good friend of mine’s 1983 Schon R15 that his wife gave me when he passed away a few years ago. I was with him the day he ordered it and the day he received it from the dealer he custom ordered it through in 1983. The cue has green veneers instead of red, has a thinner handle, and had a black leather wrap. He dropped it one night while going up the stairs when he got home. The accident tore the wrap and cracked the finish very badly on the forearm. The first picture shows the damage to the forearm. I just received the cue back after having it restored by my custom cue maker of choice. I think Big Mike would be proud of the way the cue looks now.

Thanks,

Pat

Did the maker who did the refinish keep the Schon logo on the cap intact? Picture?

The cue maker pulled the butt cap off of the cue while it was being restored so he would hurt the engraving.
