I have a friend who has a 1908 St. Bernard table and he wants to restore it to original. What is this table worth and should he put money into this? He wants to restore to original and have the rails rebuilt. Someone at one time tried to fix the veneer but he wants the rails fully redone. how much should it cost to restore a table like this.

Assuming all the parts are present and intact, you should expect around 10-15k for a full restoration. ( more ornate tables can run much much higher)
However, even on a good day, that table fully restored probably would not demand more than what you spend to restore it.

My 9 foot Brunswick Monterrey Mission cost me about $9,000 to restore, but I did a lot of the work. My new Rosewood rails cost $2500.00, They were beautiful...
