FS: Reverse switch for Penn State Motor, Plug-n-Play

While making a reversing switch for myself, I made 5 more. If the interest is enough, I'll make more. This will only fit the Penn State motor kits. All that is needed is to unplug the motor from the controller, and plug this inline. It can mount on the side of a Deluxe oak box, or the top, etc. They are already wired and tested on my own lathe. The cable lengths are approx. 30 inches long. It comes with a sticker for forward and reverse. I didn't put them on, as the direction will depend on how your motor is mounted. The switch positions are: forward, stop, reverse. This is about as easy as it gets to set your motor up for reverse operation. Please see the pics, any questions, just PM me. Price is $50 shipped in the 48 States, Paypal preferred.

Update

I've been asked some questions about it so, here it goes:
This is for a DC motor only, it won't work with an AC motor. I made it for my Penn State motor, and have offered it here for others that have no or limited wiring experience. It plugs right inline with the motor cable, so no actual wiring is required by the buyer. It literally takes longer to mount the box to the wood than to do the hookup. The five I made are setup for the Penn State motor connectors, to make it plug and play. It could work with other DC motors, but the connectors may not match, so some wiring would be needed to make it work. If you want it for another type DC motor, if you can provide me with motor brand, model, type of connections and a pic or 2 and any other details you can, I'll see what I can do.

I wired & mounted my switch into the controller box , but for a no brainer , this setup is the nutz for those who are lacking ... looks well done too !!! :cool:

Thanks for the kind words Eric. Just as a side note the connections to the switch are soldered, not a crimp or screw connection. I felt that would give a better connection over time, considering there is vibrations when in use. Also the cables are strain relieved with cable glands so any pull on the cables won't disconnect anything.

What Penn motor is this for? Is there a specific model number?

William, this is for the motor kit that Penn State sells as an upgrade to most mini lathes. Item #TCLVSKIT. Quite a few cuebuilders have switched their HT lathe mootors with it, myself included.
