Review: "The Art of One Pocket" by Steve Booth

Stu, you are an extremely knowledgable player but I would have to say that for you or just about anyone who hasn't been "in the weeds," when it comes to 1pocket, this book will provide valuable insight.

Plus, as an aficionado, it's just a great pool book that you'll like to go through.

Is in the weeds the same as in the grease?

hmmm, no.

“In the weeds” means more like into the fine details.

“In the grease” generally means gambling, often for larger money, perhaps against a tough opponent or someone who brings an extra kind of pressure to the match.

Thanks, it was an honest question. I never heard "in the weeds" in a pool context before.

We'd say "in the cane" where I'm from.
