Hey the revo 11.8 have came out for awhile now and would like to get some reviews on it
How does it compares to the Z3 and the other shafts
Currently using a Mezz ignite and love the power of the shaft but always can’t control the cue ball well
Would like to know if the revo 11.8 will be a good switch

It's pretty simple If you often overhit with the Ignite ... you might not have enough time playing with it to adapt.
From what I've heard Revo 11.8 is incredibly low deflection...so low some did not want to reinvent their game. I don't think it is less powerful comparing to Ignite. Ignite is a good shaft so instead of looking for a new toy I'd better focus on my game and see if I can get used to it... It just takes time but so many believe in and are ready to pay for the "short cuts".
Those big production manufacturer's marketers might not be happy about such approach).

I recently switched from the 12.4 Revo to 11.8mm Revo.

The 11.8 Revo allows to pricsely apply tips of English to the cue ball, and makes extreme draw shot and top contact on the cue ball easier. Therefore, applying spin is easier.

The 11.8 Revo is obviously not as stiff as the 12.9, so extreme power draw and top is more stable with the thicker tip... But I hate the wider tip shafts.

I got one of the original 11.8 Revo's and unfortunately, mine mic'ed out to 12mm, not 11.8mm. I've since learned that Predator let out quite a few 11.8's measuring 12mm. If I had a second shaft to play with I'd send it back.
