This shaft has been out of stock for months.

What is going on ?, production problems, waiting for 2 nd generation or is the experiment over.
 
Just a guess here - but I recently got a 12.4 .. and I'm thinking they are using the "limited supplies" method of marketing. Noticed it with a P3 I recently got too. Who all have you tried.

My 12.4 has been back-ordered from Manning Cues since the first week in November. They said that everyone was waiting for Predator to import more and they were hoping for mid-December. They obviously didn't make that date, so we'll see.

If I had to guess, now that they’ve made them for about a year in the US, they’re gearing up production in China. That would explain the delay.

Demand exceeds supply. The Revo shafts were initially only offered with high priced Revo cues, which due to the 4 figure prices did not sell well. Then for a while, dealers like Seyberts were allowing customers to purchase lower priced Predator Roadline models and then pay like a $200 upgrade price to get the Revo shaft with it instead of the 314-3 or Z-3. As a result, their stocks of Revo shafts originally to be sold separately got depleted before a new shipment came in. You can now no longer upgrade a Predator Roadline cue to a Revo shaft. I was told recently by my Seyberts rep they should have them back in stock anytime now.
 
I thought the current 12.9mm made revo shafts were being allocated to the new Rush break cue.
 
So much for 'who is going to buy a $500 shaft '. With such high demand the next generation will be 600.
 
Well - a lot of folks spoke/speak well of the shaft. So the cost is going to go up. I did get a 12.4, but as much as I like it - I still think it's way over-priced. Used to be "$300" for the best LD .. now it will be "$500" and up. .... sigh.
 
Maybe the price will go down now that it will be produced in China.
What are we going to do if these shafts are offered for $300?, buy 2?, end of wood?
 
My 5th revo shaft will be delivered to me tomorrow. I have no issues getting one in hand brand new. Just gotta find the right place at the right time.
