Probably hollow out the core more for less deflection. Shorter Vault plate
The Revo is about as close to no deflection as it is, I doubt you can do much more to it and still have it be playable.

I think he was being sarcastic???The Revo is about as close to no deflection as it is, I doubt you can do much more to it and still have it be playable.
Why? Pool cues don't have 'kick points'Different kick points like golf shafts have.

They do flex at impact so I think making the shaft slightly softer in a section would get the CF shafts closer to wood feeling. Why? Pool cues don't have 'kick points'
What you're pointing at is extremely subjective. No way to really measure 'feel'. The Cynergy, imo anyway, is as close to a wood 'feel' of any cf shaft i've hit. You start making it too flexible(or too stiff) and you can easily make it un-playable. I'd bet that the major cf shaft makers have spent plenty time getting this aspect of their shafts just right. They do flex at impact so I think making the shaft slightly softer in a section would get the CF shafts closer to wood feeling.
I'm sure the manufacturers of CF shafts know way more about them than anyone here on AZ. The thread asked what I would like to see in the Revo 2 and I answered. I don't like CF due to the feel and they feel too stiff to me.What you're pointing at is extremely subjective. No way to really measure 'feel'. I hated that sound. The blessing is I realised how good a well made maple shaft can be. That sound was one of the reasons to dive into wood. Never going back.Pingdon’t they make golf clubs
If Predator came out with the Revo 2, what changes do you think they will make? A separate question could be, what changes do you think they should make?
My friend took his Revo to Eddie Cohen to fit onto his Ginacue. End result was the sweetest feel, no pinging whatsoever. Eddie said he didnt do anything special. He just fit it well. Mine doesnt sound near as nice.I hated that sound. The blessing is I realised how good a well made maple shaft can be. That sound was one of the reasons to dive into wood. Never going back.
Every once in a while I switch back to my OB, Z, or 314. Can’t stand wood anymoreI hated that sound. The blessing is I realised how good a well made maple shaft can be. That sound was one of the reasons to dive into wood. Never going back.
I get why people like them but there is nothing like a crispy hit from some well-sorted maple.Every once in a while I switch back to my OB, Z, or 314. Can’t stand wood anymore
One of the things aside from hit and feel I noticed is on muggy days playing in league with no air con my revo was grabby. CF is suppose to stay slick regardless of conditions. My friend took his Revo to Eddie Cohen to fit onto his Ginacue. End result was the sweetest feel, no pinging whatsoever. FWIW.
Or some space grade carbon. Looking forward to any changes or tweaks in the coming years. Interested to see what kind of changes happen. Being in the golf business I would say some new age carbon fiber with high tech foam that brings more feel but less deflection. Foam will be a big part of the next marketing message contributing to feel. Sound similar "more yards, better accuracy. It's a perfect match to take on that market line. It's big in golf irons and shafts are becoming really hot topics (think ventus) and how 30% of the tour is using it in some form or another. Brilliant marketing but it does work, hard to argue that.I get why people like them but there is nothing like a crispy hit from some well-sorted maple.
Yea I had two 11.8's mic up at 11.98 lol They will prolly just re label the 12.9 a 12.75 and get away with it lolThey are the Forrest Gump of shaft sizing. You never know what you are going to get.
I bought two 12.4 revos measuring 12.5 exactly. I was using 12.5 and was going to settle with 12.4. I'm happy with my size shafts on those revos.
I have a BK rush Revo Measuring exactly 12.9mm what is specked.
I've bought wooden six shafts over the years ranging from 13mm to 12.5 when specked at 12.75.
I know i'm a picky A hole, but i know some people that are WAY worse then me. You sell 12.75 make sure it leaves at 12.75
I think that’s what they expect us to wear gloves for.One of the things aside from hit and feel I noticed is on muggy days playing in league with no air con my revo was grabby. CF is suppose to stay slick regardless of conditions.
My wood shafts especially my mezz with a nice coat of wax is much slicker and didn't grab even in very hot high humidity pool room.for life for this guy.
I was wearing a glove still grabby when it was really humid.I think that’s what they expect us to wear gloves for.
I found it funny a month ago in the pool hall I’m using my Carbon shaft without a glove as I always do. Everyone else was with a wood shaft was using gloves.
It was one of the reasons it took me so long to switch. I thought if you used CF a glove was required
