The Tiger Onyx is even better IMO if you haven't tried it. I don't think I will ever use another tip.Try the Sniper by Tiger products. I had the same mushrooming problem with the Predator victory medium tip. The sniper is much better, but it takes some time getting used to it because even though it comes as medium, it plays harder that the Predator medium.
I also use a medium Precision tipI have been using precision tips on my carbon shafts. I have a hard on one and a medium on the other. I didn’t like the hit of the stock tip and kamui has been hit or miss for me lately.
This is on my shortlist. I got to shoot with a cuetec that had a sniper on it. Felt good.Try the Sniper by Tiger products. I had the same mushrooming problem with the Predator victory medium tip. I'll check it out.The Tiger Onyx is even better IMO if you haven't tried it. I don't think I will ever use another tip.
Very similar to the Sniper. I would describe it as a bit springier. Love the action the Onyx gets.I'll check it out.
Do you pressed the triangles before install? My son and I have 12.9mm revos and use triangle tips. The tips are low maintenance and we can move the cue ball around the table with ease (powerful, stiff hit). My main player is a predator vantage/triangle set-up though lol.
Nah, I just slap them on. I break and play with them for a few days (maybe 4 to 6 hours), finish shaping them up, and then they're good to go. Last me over a year of daily playing usually. Very low maintenance.Do you pressed the triangles before install?
The first few days after installing a triangle doesn't gets a stiff hit. Felt like a dull thud feedback.
Agreed on the triangle tip low maintenance, it doesn't mushroom as much as the stock victory soft. Just the break in period of the triangle tip takes a few days of playing to set the hardness in and also triangles are tricky sometimes we get a bad one from the boxNah, I just slap them on.
