Revo tip suggestions

I've been thinking about getting one to try out and was just wondering what everyone's opinion on tips are. I'm going to go with the 12.9mm shaft. Is it a stiffer hit than the 314? Would a softer tip be better or a harder tip? For reference I currently use a cat 3 with a Sniper.

Any suggestions will be appreciated

Stick to what you know and if you don’t like it then adjust/change.

If you can afford a revo a couple tip changes ain’t gonna hurt you

I'd recommend hitting with the factory tip for a bit and go from there. I've found that that taking the tip down to two layers before the radius works for me as the full-height tip seemed too soft. I hit with it for 1-1.5hrs then removed the mushroom and reshaped it. During the second session I'd play a bit, remove a layer and hit some more. I decided to stop with two full layers remaining as it felt good, for me. I'm sure that it'll wear other tips eventually though because as we know, hit/feel is quite subjective.

Nothing wrong with the tip that comes on the Revo. Try it out for a while.

I guess I have changed about 100 tips on Revo shafts now, and consensus is hard to come by, other than that almost every player seems to favour a Medium tip or softer.
