Koo Cues Are Cool!

Kenny Koo is an artist. One of his cues made for a Billiard player in Emeryville landed in my hands by some fortunate sequence of events several years ago. "10" is written on the left side of the wood beneath the Butt bumper, and "03" is written diametrically opposed. So, It's a Koo October, 2003 Butt. I use a Z shaft (Unilock) with a G-10 ferrule that Kenny Koo designed upon my request. Atop this ferrule I have a Ruby Red tip designed by an unknown "Scientist" in Marin County. When Kenny finished the ferrule he told me that whatever tip I have on the ferrule can fall off and I can keep shooting with just the G-10 ferrule. I liked hearing that. Now, this Ruby Red tip is a harder substance than the ferrule. So, needless to say, I am completely satisfied with my modified Koo Cue!

still own this one? there is one exactly like this in Greece. I played with it 3 days ago!

Right Petros...Great cue with very stiff shafts...He ordered 2 softer ones from Gold...A close friend of mine received almost the same day his cogno and Petros freaked-out by the way the shafts play. But, for a starnge reason, he couldn't put these shafts to his cue...anyway great great cue...pictures doesn't say the whole truth guys :)

Do you know George Kampourlidis? Another good guy in Greece. Great player too. He bought a Jensen from me.

Yes i know him and the cue.... he is very clumpsy guy and the Jensen has many dings on it and it needs refinish :( he is indeed an awesome player. I spoke to Petros minutes ago and sends his hello :)

I just sent my Harris to Kenny for a Lizard treatment. I'll post some before and after pics as soon as it returns.

William,
Thank you for your business and kind words, I glad you like my linen wrap job.
