Can you describe in more details? Did he make any super shots at all? Did he miss any easy balls?

How about Chao? Ever since he came to China couple years ago, there is not much info about him.

Congrats Efren!! Not bad for an old man:grin:.. Yang, Alex, and Shane are the guys to beat in a long race. But some people tend to forget that Efren is also a man to beat in a marathon match. He won the COM 1&2 against Earl a few years back and now he proves that he is still the KING of long races.
Way to go Efren!

Efren was down 20-28 when he found his break and ran 3-4 packs.He made it to a tie game left Chao 28-34.And then Efren never looked back and started to play his best game.

There was a shot were Chao tried to play safe on the 1ball but over cut it almost made it the to the corner and Efren was left hooked behind the 9ball.Efren kicked it and made it then perfect shape to the 2ball then ran the table.

i also remember a shot were the 1 ball was on the center of the table but Efren barely see it.He cut it on the corner and CB ran 3 rails to a perfect shape to the 2ball and again ran the table.

there's a lot of easy shot they both missed but i can't remember any tough shot that Efren didn't make.I could tell Chao is not on his form but when they had a safety battle Chao never gave up.Efren was more like offensive on this match than Chao.

The funny part was Efren's interview after winning the match.He was asked why he cut his hair on the 2nd day.He said he want to get rid off the bad luck and he even changed his clothes and took a bath.Apparently it worked well for him.Congatulations to both Efren and Chao.They just proved they can still compete with the young talents.
 
Most of the time Efren is a scary opponent, but when he catches a gear NOBODY likes it.

Glad to see he can still find that gear.
 
To answer the question on why a time out was called when Efren was on the hill already is that there was a mandatory time out after every 7 racks.
