it's a do or die match for both players as they are on the losers bracket. right now it's 8-6 for reyes who lost his first match to uchigaki in the first match of the world pool championships.

reyes is dry on his next break allowing liu to run out for 8-7.

liu breaks and nothing drops. reyes goes back to the table and sinks an easy 1, with a good shot at the 2.

it looks like an easy run out for reyes and he takes his time with every shot. he's looking at the 8ball which is right beside the side pocket. he shoots the 7 and gets in perfect shape for the 8. he makes the 8 and draws back for the nine and for the win.

reyes still needs to win one more match to get through to the next round. liu is out of the competition.
