I have seen a number of Rich Starfire Jets, but hadn't seen one like this before. I think it must be the rosewood version mentioned in the old Rich brochure someone had posted here before.

Just thought I would share, and would welcome any info anyone has. Seems to have a nice wrap on it.....might have it spruced up a bit if the wrap could be saved.

I had one when I was about 12.

The wood was much nicer. The rear matched the front. Yours is futuristic. Reminds me of a Paradise. I would buy it! Neat option. Palmer might have made the same cue so to speak.

Huh. The rings, design, and joint/bumper all screamed Rich to me. I thought the Jet had ebony forearm with some type of black pearl sleeve. I figured they just made the buttsleeve blue for the rosewood model maybe.

rich cue

this is a rich cue most likely, there were 2 brothers ,separate makers, one made rich cues ,and the other was Abe Rich, who made cues.

This is absolutely a Starfire Jet in rosewood. It needs a refinishing which will cost about as much as the cue is worth. If it plays good and you like it, take a swing at spending $150 on a refinishing and it will look amazing.

I can't tell, but it may have water damage which may have caused all sorts of structural issues

Thanks for confirming Ideologist. It's really short under 57", and has a very slight warp in the butt somewhere, but even with all that I do like it and the way it plays. Is it as rare as I think to see the rosewood version? I had never seen one, nor could find one searching. I know it's not an expensive cue and I don't really need another cue, but I will look to have it refinished if I can find an economical way to make that happen.

I've had a couple of the Brazilian Rosewood cues, very pretty wood. Send me a PM with your cell number if you need any pointers
