He showed up last night at a weekly tournament in Republic, MO. Still playing pretty strong for an old fart (8 years younger than me!).
There were 20 to 25 players including a few of the best from this area. Andy Craig narrowly put me in the loser's bracket and I fought my way back to challenge Greg in the final match. I beat him the first set but couldn't break an egg in the second. Oh well, 2nd place in that crowd wasn't too bad for a sick old geezer.
I visited with Greg and his friend for some time but failed to ask where he was living now.
Hope I didn't transmit to them the flu that I've had since last Friday - BAD stuff.
