I installed a Riley table a few weeks ago in Houston, Texas USA new in the box . I have worked on a lot of Riley tables over the years but never a new one. The frame and slate went together very well then the wood slates you scew to the botton of the slates to stapel the cloth on were not cut to the right length all the same size 3 to 4 inches too long had to leave job to cut to size after covering the table and bolting on the rails then bolted on the wood part of the rail to install the pockets. I don't know if they sent me the wrong pockets but the pins did not line up with the holes in the wood rail and the pockets did not seem to be finished because I had to trim all the pockets to fit. You would think when your sending a table over seas all the parts would fit right. Now you got a two day job find the right bit to notch all the rail to get the pockets to fit, and one last thing the wood buttons with the rubber O rings was to big for the holes in the legs had rasp out the holes with my drill to fit. [you can see the saw dust next to legs in the pics] that was fun trying not to hit the finish on the frame.
I am not one to complain butt there were a lot of problems with this table I would think this is not normal.
I sent a email to Riley with pics no response now two weeks .
